Food For Thought: Fort Hood Shooting Tied to Guy Fawkes Day?

This Friday’s Food For Thought is in memory of those killed and wounded at the Fort Hood shooting on November 5, 2009.

When I Googled “Fort Hood shooting” in quest for more information, the third Google News result linked to Guy Fawkes Day Attack On Fort Hood from Citzens for Legitimate government’s website. The article made no mention of any connection between the attack, and the British day of memorandum of Guy Fawkes, but the title was enough to make me wonder.

Do you believe the Army major attacked Fort Hood because of Guy Fawkes Day as a message to the United states government? Or was the day chosen at random and any connection is merely coincidence?

Just some food for thought.
